NASA's Crew Earth Observations team at the Johnson Space Center in Houston have created a series of videos from time-lapse still images taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. The images were taken by station Expedition 28 and 29 crew members between Aug. 21 and Sept. 17.<br /><br />The images show Earth from an altitude of approximately 240 miles, including spectacular views of Aurora Australis, Tropical Storm Lee, Hurricane Irene, North America, Africa and the Mideast.<br /><br />The videos and original still images are available on the web through the Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth at: <br /><br />http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/Videos/CrewEarthObservationsVideos/
